Welcome to Magnetic Island Country Club

Magnetic Island Country Club is a member-owned, not-for-profit golf club. Every dollar from green fees, the bar and our sponsors goes back into the course and the clubhouse.

The course is carved into the hills above Picnic Bay, backing onto national park, complete with boulders, hoop pine, curlews, koalas and the occassional echidna. There are no sand bunkers, but well-placed "grass bunkers" guard the greens. The course is watered year-round and plays well in every season.

It is a nine hole course configured for 18 with different tees the second time around.

For the visitors we offer carts and club hire for a casual, friendly social game. Ring 07 47785188 to book.

 

For the more regular player we offer varying levels of membership. Formal club competitions are held on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays which are open to visiting Golf Australia members. More casual club events are held on Wednesdays and Fridays. As a club we have a Penant team and organise group trips to events at other nearby mainaland clubs.

We are a small, relaxed, social club that welcomes guests and new members.
